Description

Are you looking for that great place to go to where you can enjoy the elements and relax? Where you and your loved ones can do whatever you please on your own acreage. Whether you build your forever dream home or a use it as a family getaway. Isn’t now the time to unwind and spend more quiet moments on this spacious desert property.

This lot is only about 20 minutes from Kingman, so convenient resources such as shopping are nearby. It’s also about 45 minutes from Bullhead City, and the great gambling metropolis of Laughlin, Nevada. To the North of the parcel is a sizable shooting range complex. The land here is flat but shifts downward as you head to the south. There were no accessible utilities nearby and there’s a natural gas pipeline which runs east to west one parcel to the North.

The vegetation is nice; including multiple breeds of cacti and desert plants that provide for some variety, which is somewhat unusual, as most of the area generally consists of brush and short small cactus. There is a home to the West of this parcel, but it’s almost too far to be visible. Overall, this would be a great place to park an RV or trailer, and building a nice homestead is definitely within the realm of possibility. It’s also close to the freeway and close to town. A great way to get away without being too isolated.

Kingman, Arizona
This city has over 60 buildings on the National Historic Register and is frequently referred to as the “Heart of Historic Route 66”. It has a storied history and has been a unique stop over for many people. Clark Gable and Carol Lombard got married in Kingman. In 1928, Charles Linbergh (the first pilot to solo the Atlantic) made a stop in Kingman. This stop was made during the first 48 hour air mail service between New York and Los Angeles.

Kingman is also known for its strong economic streams in tourism, manufacturing, distribution and transportation. A major factor in the current growth of city is the climate. Nearby Attractions/City

Kingman, Arizona

The area was home to many Indian tribes for centuries. In October 1857, Lt. Edward Fitzgerald Beale and his experimental Camel Corps trudged across the present site of Kingman, Arizona surveying a wagon road along the 35th parallel. Before long there was a steady stream of travelers who often encounted hostile Indians in the area. The travelers needed protection so Fort Mojave was established on the Colorado River to protect the area. The soldiers started scouting the hills during their off-duty time and found gold and silver. Which was quickly followed by many mining camps.

Today, Kingman’s strategic location make it the perfect stop for fishermen and water sport lovers on their way to Lake Mead, Lake Mohave and the Colorado River, as well as gamblers on their way to Laughlin and Las Vegas.
